Hello! Welcome to my new Book Blog!

Hey! My name is Melissa Sickels. I am a simple Iowa girl who loves to read. I have a book club in my small town and we read many different genres. I have many different people who are always asking what I am reading and what I would recommend for them. I only plan on sharing about the books I read. I will not have to do the "spoiler alert" because I will not go into so much detail as to tell anyone too much. I don't plan on giving books a huge review. I plan to keep in "simple", hence the Simple Book Junkie. I will give a simple overview about a book, what I thought, how it affected me, and who I might recommend it to. Again, I have been real good about not sticking to one genre. The only genre you will never find on here is Sci-fi. I am terrible sorry but that does not interest me at all! I hope you find this blog helpful. Remember it is just little old me and what I thought, not some big important book review person. So enjoy and let's keep it simple.
