Second Time Around by Beth Kendrick

This book is good. I wouldn't say great or fabulous. It was slow, at least for me it was. It has a nice story line and I like the 5 female characters. Some might find it a liberating story or like Wonder Woman, very empowering. There is romance in the book and it made me giggle a little. The book would definitely fall in the realistic fiction genre. It was a book I could put down, walk away, and do other things yet not be dying to get back to it. When I was about 43 pages from the end, I kept asking myself, where is this heading.? I didn't feel like the climax was very climactic. But it did wrap things up nicely and when I was finished I said aloud, "Well...hmmm" I do feel like the book came full circle from beginning to end. It's a nice simple read. I would recommend to those who are not looking for a face-paced action packed mystery or romance. You can just sit and relax as you read this book.
